Julie Morales comes from the small town of Winters, CA and has lived in this beautiful Napa Valley since 1996. She started working at Silverado Country Club in 1995 in the Business Center/Multi-Media Department. As the co-owner of TEAM Morales Events, Julie, along with her husband of 20 years, Tony Morales and partner Nikki Williams, have been instrumental in organizing and executing memorable events in Napa for over 15 years. Julie and Tony have a daughter, Sophia.

Julie started her radio career at the local radio station on KVON 1440 AM as the host of the ever-popular “Swap Shop” and became a Sales Representative for both stations, also working in Promotions & Marketing for 99.3 FM The Vine. She returned to radio when Wine Down Media opened the brand new location hosting the “Afternoon Drive” time slot on 99.3 FM The Vine from 2018-2020.

Julie started working with the Downtown Napa Association in 1997 and in 2007, became the manager of the Chefs’ Market running the event until its conclusion in 2014. She still currently works for the DNA as a contractor running their annual events: The Napa Table, Fridays in the Park, Car Show, Blues Brews & BBQ, Tree Lighting, Christmas Parade and many other events downtown.

Julie is a graduate of Leadership Napa Valley, Class 24 (the best class ever!) and was the recipient of the Wagenknecht Memorial Award. She also completed the Napa Citizens Academy Program in 2012. She is a member of the Kiwanis Club of Napa and has been on the Board of Directors since 2012. Julie had the honor of serving next to Jim Roberts, a long time Napa resident and Kiwanis Playground King, who helped build over 60 playgrounds in Napa County and worked very closely with Napa Parks and Recreation. Since his passing, Julie has become the playground Chair with Kiwanis. She really looks forward to continuing her relationship with Parks and Recreation and building more playgrounds with Kiwanis Club of Napa.
