Amy Deck

Amy has served as a volunteer Commissioner with the City of Napa Parks, Recreation and Trees Advisory Commission since 2019 and served as the Vice Chair since 2023.

Amy has worked in urban National Park management since joining the Presidio Trust in San Francisco, CA in 2004. In her current role as a Senior Community Partnerships Specialist, Amy focuses on welcoming the public to the Presidio and forming and maintaining community partnerships. Amy coordinates community outreach and engagement projects focused on increasing access to the Presidio, public programs, volunteer docent programs focused on welcoming the public, and the Presidio Community Shuttle program. In Amy’s previous role at the Trust, she managed large-scale open space projects that focused on watershed restoration and improving and building the Presidio’s trail and bikeway network.

She received her B.S. in Biological Sciences from the University of the Pacific and M.S. in Environmental Management from the University of San Francisco. As a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer (Jamaica 01-03) and LEED Accredited Professional, Amy brings her experience in partnership building, community outreach, green building design and sustainability to Presidio projects.

Amy lives in Napa with her husband Dalton, their son Conrad and chocolate lab, Blue. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, yoga, swimming, and enjoying all the natural beauty of the Napa Valley.
